          Zinc reference electrode is mainly used in the soil environment with high seawater and chloride content.Because of its good compressive resistance, it is widely used in soils with high hardness or under constant pressure.But the potential of zinc reference electrode is not as stable as that of copper sulfate electrode.It is suggested that the two should be used together.

          Zn reference electrode can not only be used to measure the potential of the protected structure, but also can be used as the signal source of potentiostat automatic control.

• Installation instructions：

    Embedment location:

          The electrodes are buried near protected metal structures, deep enough underground in soil to be permanently moist.Where the water table is high, the electrodes should be buried in the soil 20 cm above the water table, and the permafrost should be buried below the permafrost.

    Burial method:

1. Soak the reference electrode in an appropriate amount of distilled water or clean fresh water for at least 2 hours.
2. Bury the return packing bag with electrodes into the pre-dug burial pit, and compact the surrounding soil, and then pour appropriate amount of fresh water to the buried site to improve the connection state of electrodes.
3. Connect the electrode wire to the measurement loop for use.
